The electrical interface of the SFP 10G fiber optic module complies with the SFI electrical specifications. The receiver converts serial optical data at 10 Gbit/s into PECL/CML serial electrical data. The single-mode SFP insert is equipped with a two-wire serial I2C interface for serial identification, digital diagnostics and module control.
