It features a lot of useful functions.<br><br><b>Sprinkler</b><br>The sprinkler function may be used at any time, regardless of other functions of the iron currently in use. The sprinkler is activated using the button by the handle. It may be necessary to press the button several times for the sprinkler to work.<br><br><b>Steam ironing</b><br>Place the steam jet strength switch in a desired position (‘Min’ is the lowest jet strength, and ‘Max’ is the highest). The strength of the jet also depends on the thermostat setting – with lower temperature (one or two dots) it is lower, and with higher temperature (three dots), the jet is stronger.<br><br><b>Steam shot</b><br>This function activate a single burst of approx. 120 g of steam to ensure more effective ironing of tough creases or fabrics. The steam shot function works properly only when temperature is set to three dots or ‘max’. When the button next to the handle is pressed, a burst of steam will be ejected from the holes in the sole plate. If needed, the operation may be repeated after a few seconds. It is not recommended to use the function more than three times in a row. To activate the function, it may be necessary to press the ‘steam shot’ button several times.<br><br><b>Vertical steam ironing</b><br>This function also uses the steam shot function, but when the iron is in a vertical position. When using this function, hold the iron approx. 15-30 cm from the ironed piece of clothing.<br><br><b>Anti-Calc self-cleaning system</b><br>The iron is equipped with a self-cleaning system, preventing calcification and mineral buildup. An integrated anti-calc system is used to reduce calcification during steam ironing; however, it is impossible to stop this natural process completely; therefore, from time to time scale pieces may pass through the holes in the sole plate.<br><br><b>Self Cleaning System</b><br>This function allows to eliminate calcification and mineral buildup from the device. Decalcification should be carried out at least once a month, depending on the hardness of the water used – the harder the water, the more frequently the decalcification should be performed. This function is activated using the Self Cleaning button.<br><br><b>Anti-Drip System</b><br>It is a system stopping the water from leaking through the sole plate of the iron in low temperatures. During use, the system works automatically and may generate a loud hissing sound, especially during heating and cooling. This noise is completely normal and indicates that the system is working properly.<br><br><b>Auto STOP System</b><br>The Auto STOP function is a system that automatically turns off the iron when it is connected to a power outlet, but has been left unattended. This system is extremely sensitive, and may activate (i.e. turn off the device) whenever the ironing process is long and slow. To turn the iron back on, move the iron vigorously.<br><br><b>Auto STOP in horizontal position</b><br>If the iron, connected to a power outlet, is left unattended in a horizontal (ironing) position, the system will react within approx. 30 seconds. After that time, the device will be automatically turned off with a short sound signal.<br><br><b>Auto STOP in vertical position</b><br>If the iron, connected to a power outlet, is left unattended in a horizontal (ironing) position, the system will react within approx. 8 minutes. After that time, the device will be automatically turned off with a short sound signal.
