The aluminum rotary splitting wedge OX 41-1000 from Ochsenkopf is an extremely stable, forged safety splitting wedge made of high-quality aluminium. The 30° rotated shape allows for increased lift and maximum splitting action, while the oval shape improves handling and increases the face area. Missing and damage to the outer hitting surface is minimized. The acute-angled engraved grooves on the front, the additional saw teeth on the back and the barbs on both sides prevent the wedge from slipping out and springing back when it is being driven in, especially in frozen wood. The guide ribs ensure a straight drive.
