The Fiskars X24 splitting ax with S-blade (head length 15.2cm) is masterfully balanced to optimize swing speed and increase the power used. It is ideal for splitting firewood, for small to medium-sized logs and logs with a diameter of 10 — 20cm. The innovative, ultra-sharp forged steel blade is designed to cut wood more effectively and is double hardened to maintain the sharpness of the precision ground edge. The special blade design with a wider blade and a riving knife provides more power and makes it easier to pull the blade out of the wood. The low-friction coating helps the blade glide through the wood after striking and provides additional rust protection. The molded ax head ensures an inseparable connection to the handle. The virtually unbreakable design of the X-series X24 splitting ax includes a lightweight, remarkably strong FiberComp handle that absorbs shock and provides excellent impact protection. The ergonomically curved handle also has an oversized grip zone made of strategically structured SoftGrip and a hooked end for a secure grip before, during and after the swing.
